On 1st November, the Q400 list of the top 400 Privately owned businesses was released and we came in at 286. Not a bad effort really..... Lets see where we come next year!

Gold Coast changes

Our operation on the Gold Coast, Chef Talk Catering is getting a new manager, Michelle Kernohan. Michelle will gradually take over the operations on the Gold Coast over the next few months and will eventually move down. Michelle has been with us for two years so this new challenge will be a great step for Michelle.

Venue News- Old Government House

Following an extensive refurbishment, Old Government House has been freshly restored to its former glory. The inside of The House on the lower floor boasts three interconnecting reception rooms including The Hall with stunning feature staircase and overhanging hand crafted chandelier, and The Dining Room and Drawing Room, both leading onto outdoor verandahs.

Also located on the lower floor is The Billiard Room, ideal for corporate presentations, board meetings or an intimate dining experience.

The Cellar, with its subterranean location provides the perfect ambience to host a memorable occasion that departs from both convention and expectation.

On the second level of The House, The Day Nursery offers a private meeting room with an abundance of natural light.

The Lawns of The House including an outdoor Courtyard and landscaped gardens provide the perfect setting for cocktail receptions, ceremonies and pre-dinner drinks.

Wine & Dine'm Catering is on the panel of caterers at Old Government House so if you need a stunning venue just let us know.
