Office Catering

When the agenda is stacked and the room’s on a clock, catering should keep the day moving, not steal focus. This guide is for Executive and Personal Assistants, Office Administrators, and Corporate Event Coordinators. It helps with quick setups, clear formats, and food that is easy to eat at a table or while working at your keyboard.

Why It Works

A clear plan means fewer interruptions, predictable per-head spend and food / service that fits (doesn't fight) your timeline. Whether you’re ordering via our easy Express Drop-Off Catering option or booking a serviced working lunch, with kitchen and front of house staff - the foundations are the same.

What to confirm before your enquiry

Date & Service Times

When is your boardroom meeting booked for? Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch or Afternoon Tea?

Guest Count + Budget Range

(e.g. 14–18 guests, $$ per head).

Room Constraints

Is food being served in the boardroom, or a casual breakout area? Are there stairs, accessible goods lifts, spare back of house areas for food prep...etc. - Basically anything that will effect either service or bumping-in necessary equipment

Dietaries (Including their Severity)

Include names if seated, quantities if casual, and don't skimp on the details!. Whilst the dietary requirement might say 'No Gluten', there is a crucial difference between catering for intolerances vs anaphylaxis.

Cleanup Rules

Does your office or venue have onsite bins? Are they approved for food waste? Alternatively, will service staff need to collect rubbish and take off-site for disposal

Formats that Don’t Make a Mess

One-Handers

Think -> Wraps, brioche sliders, petite salad or yoghurt cups & fresh fruit skewers.

Knife-free hot items

Think -> Mini pies, arancini, frittatas & quiches

Grazing within Reach

Think -> Compact charcuterie boards & fruit platters, sized to the table.

Sweets that can be snuck back to your desk

Think -> Brownies, danishes, macarons, petite tarts & mini almond croissants

Portioning that respects meetings

60–90 mins workshop

Think -> light lunch + fruit

Half-day offsite

Think -> Morning tea + substantial lunch + tea & coffee station

All-day Conferences

Think -> Morning & afternoon tea + lunch (Add a protein and a fresh salad at lunch)

Box of assorted wraps and rolls
Box of homemade quiches
Boxed grazing platter with sliced meats, cheese, vegtables and crackers
Black clothes conference table for a boardroom meeting lunch

Dietaries (no drama)

  • Can be matched to the main menu in look and flavour (Where possible)

  • Meals that are labelled clearly

  • Be clear about where dietary meals can be collected from. Are they placed with the guest or at a marked collection point?

  • Tell us coeliac vs “low-gluten”, vegan vs “no dairy by preference” - we’ll do the rest.

Service Tips for a Smooth Meeting

  • Keep service areas clear and accessible (i.e. a side table or credenza). Why is this important? If you are clearing a table of 20 people, you'll need a designated area to clear to in the room. This should be away from the boardroom table, but ensures you avoid multiple trips in-and-out of the room.

  • Place cold food first, hot food last

  • Drinks on a separate surface, but easily accessible for those quick water top ups

  • Provide essential items such as jugs, rubbish bins, napkins and additional clear glassware & cutlery. The less times you or meeting attendees need to leave the room, the better for the flow of the boardroom.
