Lead, oversee and drive all kitchen operations across our well-established and highly regarded catering business. This is a dynamic leadership role – not desk-bound, but also not purely hands-on. You’ll lead by example, working alongside our talented chefs to deliver premium events while driving performance, innovation and operational excellence.

  • Work closely with the Catering Operations Manager and Senior Kitchen Team

  • Leadership across kitchen operations and team performance

  • HR support - recruitment, mentoring, training and team development

  • Recipe costings, supplier negotiation and menu innovation

  • Overseeing food safety, HACCP and compliance systems

  • Managing budgets, supplier relationships and cost controls

  • Innovating in menu design, service delivery and presentation

  • Maintaining excellence in quality, efficiency and guest satisfaction

  • Financial and KPI management

  • Compliance training and documentation

  • Rostering, timesheets and workflow planning

  • Australian Open Drivers Licence

  • Minimum 4 years’ Senior Chef or catering management experience with a proven track record in a similar environment

  • Exceptional communication and time-management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate a diverse team

  • Food hygiene training & accreditation

  • A passion for innovative, incredibly-presented food is a must!

  • Strong business acumen – able to manage budgets, costs and achieve KPI / KAI targets

  • Collaborative leadership style with experience working across departments

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Proactive, positive and professional approach with the ability to adapt and evolve

  • A motivated team player that is comfortable taking on delegated responsibility

  • Exceptional knowledge of current food & catering trends

  • Hardworking, physically fit and reliable

  • Immaculate personal presentation
