Overview of Role Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure events run smoothly and according to schedule

  • Motivate, lead, and support onsite staff while promoting personal development

  • Facilitate event set-up and pack-down procedures

  • Load, unload, and operate company vehicles to and from events

  • Support depot operations by monitoring compliance with procedures and overseeing equipment returns

  • Communicate effectively with clients, guests, and staff

  • Make independent and adaptive decisions to resolve onsite issues

  • Enforce safe food handling procedures

  • Uphold company health, safety, and security standards

  • Prepare post-event reports using critical thinking and accurate documentation

  • Australian Open Drivers Licence

  • 2 Year minimum experience in a similar role around high-end dining restaurants, hotels, functions or events

  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate

  • A passion for great food, wine and beer is essential!

  • Provide food and beverage service to different styles of event e.g., Carry min 3 plates for dining events

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner

  • Comfortability in high pressure events, always thinking forward

  • Prior food hygiene training and/or accreditation is highly regarded

  • Strong interpersonal skills, being able to deal with clients and staff across all levels and demographics

  • Team player and able to work autonomously

  • Flexible approach and attitude

  • Hardworking, physically fit and reliable – There is a lot of hands-on work

  • Immaculate personal presentation
